Credit Buddy is a personal tracking tool, not a financial advisor. You control your data, and Apple manages purchases and billing.
These terms govern your use of Credit Buddy ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
What Credit Buddy does
Credit Buddy helps you track benefits, compare card value, and calculate redemption value. It is not a bank, card issuer, broker, or financial advisor.
Your data, your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. The app stores your data locally and optionally in your iCloud account. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover lost data for you.
Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Information and calculations provided in Credit Buddy are for organizational and educational purposes only. Always verify benefit terms and redemption rules directly with your card issuer or program provider.
Credit Buddy+ purchase
Credit Buddy+ is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Billing is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Standard EULA. Any refunds must be requested from Apple.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app for unlawful activity
- Interfere with app operation or abuse the platform
- Redistribute or resell the app or its contents
Availability and updates
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time to improve quality, fix issues, or comply with platform requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
Credit Buddy is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages related to use of the app, including missed benefits, incorrect assumptions, or data loss.
Termination
You may stop using Credit Buddy at any time by deleting the app. We may discontinue the app or features at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms periodically. When we do, the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable United States law.
